Former Sanford Spinners Continue to Excel on National Stage
The Sanford Spinners Baseball Club is proud to recognize two former players who are making significant impacts at the collegiate level, further reinforcing the caliber of talent that passes through Sanford each summer.
Logan Reddemann, a former Spinner and Old North State League participant, was recently named National Pitcher of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). Reddemann has established himself as a key arm for UCLA, a program currently ranked #1 nationally in multiple major college baseball polls, showcasing elite performance against top-tier competition.
On the offensive side, former Spinner Pierce Bouwman is putting together a standout season at Catawba Valley Community College. Bouwman earned NJCAA Player of the Week honors and is among the national leaders in home runs, establishing himself as one of the most dangerous hitters in junior college baseball.
Both players previously competed in Sanford as part of the Spinners organization and the Old North State League, where they developed in a competitive summer environment built to challenge and elevate high-level talent.
The continued success of Reddemann and Bouwman reflects the standard of play associated with the Sanford Spinners. Each summer, the organization brings together accomplished players from across the country, creating an environment where advanced talent competes at a high level and prepares for success beyond the summer season.
As the upcoming season approaches, the Spinners remain committed to delivering that level of competition to the Sanford community, offering fans the opportunity to watch elite collegiate players perform locally before they continue their careers on bigger stages.
