Sunday night’s Fan Fest at The Web was something truly special.
In a relaxed, meet-and-greet style setting, we had the chance to connect—really connect—with the Sanford community. Players, front office staff, and fans of all ages came together for an evening of conversation, connection, and celebration. From young families to longtime supporters, the turnout was overwhelming in the best possible way.
Watching young kids shyly approach our players with baseballs for autographs—many for the very first time—was a powerful reminder of why we do this. For some of our athletes, this was their first autograph ever. For those kids, it may have been the first time meeting high-level athletes. That kind of moment? That’s what makes community baseball so meaningful.
We also had the honor of unveiling our brand-new City Connect jersey, made even more special thanks to our partners at Cornerstone K9 and the ever-popular Murphy the Bat Dog. Murphy helped lead the reveal in unforgettable fashion—and let’s just say, he stole the show.
We’re incredibly grateful to the amazing sponsors and supporters who helped make the evening possible:
Camelback Brewing Company, for launching our official team beer—the Sanford Spinners: Web of Refreshment—and keeping the good vibes going all night.
The Web, for hosting and providing the perfect space for fans and players to come together.
Smith Douglas Homes, Central Carolina Hospital, Commissioner Taylor Voorhees Beck, and Balloon Artist Tameika Jennings Judd for your continued support and presence.
Jeff Allen and Cornerstone K9, for your partnership and for sharing Murphy, who brought joy to everyone in the building.
The entire event was free and open to the public—and the energy, excitement, and love you brought with you made it priceless.
We’re proud to represent Sanford, on and off the field. And this season, thanks to you, is off to a beautiful start.
